Giants’ prospect Alexander Suarez went 2-4 yesterday with two homers, one of which the broadcast crew said went an estimated 452 feet. Although it’s been a rough start to the season for Suarez (.171/.263/.293, 51 wRC+), he put together a nice day at the plate yesterday. This is Suarez’s first full season above rookie ball, and so far he’s shown both his plus tools and underdeveloped approach. Across 95 plate appearance this season he’s sporting a strikeout rate of 36% with a walk rate of just 6%. That clearly didn’t faze Suarez yesterday, who made sure to show the fans how to get above-average height on the bat flip when you hit a dinger…
