The Rundown ⭐️
There were a lot of high scoring games last night, but nobody scored more runs that the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, who scored 24 runs on 30 hits as they defeated the Albuquerque Isotopes 24-8. Korey Lee (24) - HOU (AAA) set the single game hit record for the Sugar Land Space Cowboys with 6 hits, two of which being doubles, and he raised his slash line to .272 / .324 / .388. Grae Kessinger (25) - HOU (AAA) also put on a show, going 5-7 with two home runs.
Marcelo Mayer (20) - BOS (A+) had a perfect hitting day yesterday, going 4-4 with two doubles and a home run. He is off to an excellent start to the year, hitting .337 / .414 / .582, and may be in line for a promotion here in the next month. Fellow Boston top prospect Miguel Bleis (19) - BOS (A) has really struggled to start the year but showcased his plus speed last night, swiping three bags while going 1-3 with a walk. He’s up to .247 / .300 / .351 on the year now.
