Kyle Stowers, OF (24) - L/L, 6' 3" / 200 - Orioles (AAA → MLB)
Drafted: 2019 - Round: CB-B, Pick: 2, Overall: 71 out of Stanford
Slowly, but surely, the Orioles are starting to promote some of their more talented younger players to the big leagues. Kyle Stowers made his big league debut last night and recorded his first hit, going 1-3 with a double and a strikeout. Stowers joins Adley Rutschman and Kyle Bradish as Orioles’ prospects who have made their big league debuts this season. If he hadn’t gotten hurt, Grayson Rodriguez would have almost certainly joined that list as well. The Orioles took Stowers out of Stanford as the 71st overall pick in the 2019 draft — a draft that is shaping up to be a good one for the O’s. This is the same year they also chose Rutschman 1st overall and Gunnar Henderson 42nd overall.
