Good morning!
Based on your feedback, we’re attempting to make the embedded tables in the newsletter larger so that they’re easier to read on your phone. It’s always helpful to receive feedback, so please continue to fill out this form if you have questions or comments. Thanks!
One other change we’re making is adding a section that includes minor league performances specific to MLB division. For example, if you’re a Braves fan and only interested in player results within your division, you can navigate to this section of the site and see the top performances from the NL East. Notable performances for teams and players separated by division can now be found here.
Also, a reminder that you can see all sections of the newsletter at any time by visiting the main page for Down on the Farm
Player of the Day 🌟
Cody Morissette, 2B - 6' 0" / 175 - Marlins (A+) - 4-6, 3 HR 💣💣💣
Marlins’ prospect, and former Boston College standout, Cody Morissette, had a career night for Beloit (AA)— hitting three homers and driving in six runs. Coming into yesterday he was hitting .224/.307/.407 (100 wRC+) in 241 plate appearances at AA. Morissette has a smooth swing from the right side and is capable of playing all over the diamond. The Marlins are likely hoping he can take a step forward offensively this season and eventually make his way to AA by the end of the year.
