Shea Langeliers reached base every time he went to the plate yesterday. He hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the 4th inning and added a walk and three singles. Langeliers is now hitting .277/.366/.520 (113 wRC+) with 18 homers and 14 doubles across 339 plate appearances this season. He’s walked in 11% of his plate appearances and struck out in 24% of his trips to the plate this year. Langliers’ power shows up pretty quickly when looking at his batted-ball data. He’s among the league leaders in most categories involving hitting the ball hard, including max exit velocity and 90th percentile exit velocity.
