The Rundown 🌟
Adael Amador (19) - COL (A) went 2 for 3 with a go-ahead homer in the fifth inning to help Fresno win 7-3 over San Jose and advance to the California League championship (Low-A). The Dominican born shortstop has spent the entire season in Fresno where he’s hit .292 / .415 / .445 with 15 home runs and 26 stolen bases. Amador and Fresno will go on to play Lake Elsinore who also punched their ticket to the finals last night by topping Inland Empire 10-8. Jackson Merrill (19) - SD (A) had three hits and a walk to help the Storm sweep its best-of-3 semifinal series. Merrill lost significant time to injury this summer but has slashed .339 / .395 / .511 across 250 plate appearances.
