Kevin Alcantara, OF - R/R - 19 y/o, 6' 6" / 188 - Cubs (A)

Alcantara was the primary piece in the return for Anthony Rizzo when he was traded to the Yankees at last season’s deadline. Alcantara is an extremely tall kid with long levers, plus tools, and a ton of potential. After joining the Cubs organization in 2021, he put up a .337/.415/.609 (159 wRC+) slash line in 107 plate appearances in the Arizona Complex League. So far this season at Low-A Myrtle Beach, Alcantara has slashed .252/.352/.439 (123 wRC+) with a 11% walk rate, 29% strikeout rate, and 3 home runs.
