There’s a lot to be excited about if you are a fan of the Baltimore Orioles. As we all probably knew, Jackson Holliday is big league ready, hitting his 2nd homer of the season last night in just his first four games of the season. Once that extra year of service time kicks in, expect to see him in Baltimore. His teammate in Norfolk, Heston Kjerstad, looks pretty ready as well. He collected three hits, including a pair of homers — he’s now 9 for 17 to start the season. The Orioles are talented and deep all of over the diamond. Look out. No much doing on the pitching side, but if you like big time stuff, then you will like Justin Martinez. The Dbacks reliever has a plus slider that he pairs with a fastball that can run up to 102 mph. You’ll likely see him coming out of Arizona’s pen very soon this season.
