Cardinals’ top prospect Jordan Walker (20) went 2-6 with two home runs for Springfield (AA) in a losing effort versus Frisco. It was the 20-year-old third baseman’s second two-homer game of the week. Walker is now hitting .305/.390/.514 (128 wRC+) on the season, and has established himself as a consensus top-10 prospect in baseball. In the same game, Chase Pinder (26) - STL (AA) went 4-5 with a home run and Justin Foscue (23) - TEX (AA) went 3-6 with a grand slam. You won’t be surprised to find out the final score was 14-12. Cardinals right-handed Michael McGreevy (22) was roughed up for six runs and seven hits. Overall there were 30 hits in the contest.
